The Birkenhead based business, Merseyside Car Hospital, has reached the finals for Medium Bodyshop of the Year at the prestigious bodyshop event awards ceremony.
Being a finalist is a great way of boosting business and staff morale, and helps the bodyshop benchmark themselves against the top performers in the industry. Just six months after a severe fire destroyed parts of the building, Ashley Berstein and his team have rebuilt a new, revitalised, state-of-the-art business from the ashes.
Merseyside Car Hospital joins Devonshire Motors Accident Repair Centre in competing for the hotly contested title. The finalists have been invited to a glittering black tie event in September for an awards dinner, where the winners will be announced.
Note to editors
This year is the 14th bodyshop awards. The bodyshop event was first held in 1997 to celebrate the publication’s 10th anniversary. It was such an overwhelming
success that it has now become an annual event, attended by professionals from every facet of the motor industry.
The awards were established to recognise and reward excellence within the automotive repair and refinish industry. In total, there are 15 award categories ranging from Young Panel Technician of the Year to Large Bodyshop of the Year.
